C-Duce
Fragrance notes
Character
C-Duce opens with a bright spray of bergamot, orange, and grapefruit. The citrus is sharp and immediate. The heart brings Bulgarian rose and jasmine, softened by a slice of melon and a dusting of praline. The sweetness here is noticeable, sitting close to the flowers rather than drowning them.
The drydown is where the fragrance settles into its true character. Cinnamon and sandalwood create a warm, woody foundation. Leather arrives with an animalic edge that feels bold and slightly rough. This base is heavy and distinct. The combination of praline and leather creates a specific contrast that defines the scent. It smells like a heavy coat and a dimly lit room. The synthetic edge on the leather note can feel a bit harsh and plastic. It lacks the smooth, natural depth found in more expensive compositions. The praline also reads a little artificial, giving the entire blend a manufactured feel that some will find off-putting.
