Cuir Seduction
Fragrance notes
Character
The room feels quiet once the lights go low. Jasmine and rose arrive first, soft and slightly powdery, with oud lending a dry, resinous edge that keeps the flowers from feeling like a bouquet. Cedar and magnolia follow, adding a clean woodiness that steadies the white petals. It is not a bright opening, and it does not try to be.
The base is where Cuir Seduction settles into its true shape. Musk and sandalwood create a smooth, creamy foundation, while patchouli brings an earthy depth that grounds the vanilla. The vanilla here is warm and rounded, not sugary, and it blends with the remaining oud to form a resinous, slightly smoky skin scent. Powdery notes drift through the woods, giving the whole composition a soft, vintage feel that sits close and feels intentional. It is rich without becoming heavy, and the floral traces from the opening linger just enough to keep the wood from feeling too dry.
This is the scent of standing near a fireplace in a room filled with dark wood furniture, wearing something soft and familiar, while the cold air stays on the other side of the glass.
