Our take

Tea Service opens with a jasmine that’s been steeped in oolong steam, all creamy floral lift and tannic warmth. The jasmine isn’t indolic or heady; it’s more like the scent of a ceramic cup warming your palm. Then the heart pours in with osmanthus and goji berries, a fuzzy apricot-leather note that collides with the pink, juicy snap of white peach. It’s a curiously lactonic moment, almost like peach yogurt dusted with osmanthus powder, before the base settles into a clean, barely-there natural musk that feels more like skin than perfume.

The overall character is a sunlit tea salon at 11 a.m., light filtered through a gauze curtain, with a single peach pit resting on a saucer. It’s natural in the way a farmers’ market stall is natural, not synthetic, and sits firmly in the niche space of atmospheric fruit- florals. Where it stumbles is in longevity and sillage: a 3 and a 2.36 mean you’ll be reapplying within two hours, and nobody beyond your shoulder will smell it. That’s fine for an intimate spring morning or a quiet afternoon reading, but if you need a fragrance to echo through a dinner party, this one fades into the furniture.

Best suited for someone who treasures fleeting beauty and doesn’t mind a second spritz after lunch. Great for daytime walks in cool weather, but skip it for winter nights or any scenario where you want to announce yourself from across the room. It’s a whisper, not a conversation, but sometimes that’s exactly the right volume. 🍑
