Our take

The beeswax here carries a heavy, slightly rough edge that some will find too dense for a bright floral. It grounds the flowers in something darker and more physical than a clean spring bouquet. You stand in a sunlit courtyard where the air is still cool enough to wear a light jacket, surrounded by terracotta pots overflowing with white petals. The blood orange and mandarin orange arrive first, sharp and vivid against the stone walls. They cut through the morning air with a clean, juicy brightness that feels immediate.

As the scent settles around you, the orange blossom and gardenia unfold alongside the jasmine, creating a lush, creamy heart. The peach adds a soft, rounded fruitiness that blends into the dripping honey, which is thick and golden rather than light. This is not a transparent fragrance. The honey clings to the air near your skin, heavy with pollen and warmth. A thread of licorice weaves through the white florals, giving the sweetness a strange, dark twist that keeps the composition from becoming a simple sugar rush.

The caramel in the base wraps around the patchouli, which is earthy and dark, pulling the entire scene toward the ground. You feel the weight of the beeswax as it mixes with the soft spicy accord, imagining the way the light hits the garden as the clouds begin to shift and the air turns that specific shade of gold where the warmth of the day starts to meet the returning chill, and the petals seem to hold the scent of the earth right beneath them
