Our take

Xuxa Meneghel opens with a slap of icy fennel and mint over a citrus basket that’s more sour than sweet, Grapefruit and Mandarin Orange jostling with Bergamot like they’re late for a poolside party. The green, aromatic freshness is almost aggressive, but it softens quickly into a heart of Frangipani and Orange Blossom that feels candied and slightly powdery, Rose barely peeking through the tropical haze. On the dry down, a musky base of Cinnamon, Cedar, Sandalwood, and Amber turns warm but stays thin, like a sunbeam through cheap curtains. The whole thing conjures an image of a plastic flamingo floating in a chlorinated pool: bright, cheerful, and completely synthetic.

This is unapologetically mainstream, a sweet fresh floral that leans heavily on the citrus-floral accord with little depth. The longevity is mediocre at best, and the sillage hovers close enough that only you will really notice it after an hour. It feels clean and buoyant, ideal for a sweltering summer afternoon when you want something easy and uncomplicated, but anyone expecting sophistication or natural beauty will be disappointed. Skip it if you crave woody complexity or smoky resins. Wear it to the beach, a daytime barbecue, or a casual brunch where the goal is to smell pleasant without asking for compliments. It’s a simple, sunny fragrance that knows its limits and stays there.
