Sharp Leather
Fragrance notes
Character
The door swings open and cold air rushes in, carrying the sharp bite of black pepper and crushed coriander that hits the nose immediately. Inside the dimly lit room, a heavy leather jacket hangs near the radiator, radiating a warm, animalic scent of castoreum and cloves that mixes with the steam rising from a cup of spiced tea. Lily petals rest on a wooden table, their white floral softness cutting through the dense, smoky patchouli and amber that cling to the floorboards. You can feel the roughness of the hide against the skin, a texture mirrored in the aromatic cardamom that weaves through the heart of the composition.
The air grows thick with the musky, woody weight of the base notes as the warmth of the space wraps around the shoulders. A single drop of this Odetu creation sits on the wrist, releasing a warm spicy pulse that feels like the texture of old books and polished wood in a room where the windows are fogged with breath. The lily tries to lift the heaviness, but the animalic leather and the deep, earthy patchouli pull it back down into the shadows, creating a scent that is more about the dark grain of the furniture and the heat of the radiator than the flowers trying to bloom within it. The cloves add a prickly heat that sits right beneath the surface of the skin, waiting to mingle with the amber that glows like the single lamp left
