This fragrance opens with a sharp fizz of aldehydes and bergamot, the mandarin orange adding a fleeting sweetness before elemi resin throws in a lemony, peppery tang. The heart is where it truly lives: iris gives a dusted, lipstick-like powder, softened by hawthorn’s almond-tinged floralcy and freesia’s watery cleanness. On drydown, white musk and ambergris smooth everything into a soft, vaguely salty skin-scent, with sandalwood providing a faint creamy anchor.
