Yusuf Bhai built a scent around the dark, sticky residue of burnt wood, but the result feels closer to a heavy wool coat worn through a cold city night. The opening hits with a sharp raspberry and cognac pairing that cuts through the initial density, offering a brief flash of fruit before the core takes over. Leather and tobacco dominate here, supported by a thick vanilla and tonka bean sweetness that keeps the mineral, industrial edge of the tar note from becoming too abrasive. It is a bold, amber-heavy composition that feels expensive and slightly animalic.

The texture is balsamic and resinous, coating the skin like a warm, smoky blanket. It suits a man who enjoys traditional power scents and wants something that feels substantial and masculine without smelling like a cleaning product. The raspberry adds a modern twist, but this is fundamentally a rugged fragrance. The limitation is the saffron and raspberry combination, which can occasionally read as a synthetic fruity candy note against the otherwise serious, woody backdrop. That clash between the playful top and the grimy base prevents it from feeling entirely cohesive.
