Red currant tries to soften the blow with a tart fruitiness, but the two top notes clash more than they blend. Rose and peony arrive with a clean, dewy freshness that feels pleasant enough, yet the jasmine adds a white floral weight that pushes the heart toward a generic department store counter. The panna cotta base is the real point of contention. It promises a creamy dessert, but on skin it reads more like sweet plastic than a gourmand treat. Patchouli grounds the sweetness with an earthy, woody bite, though it cannot fully rescue the synthetic impression left by the musk.
This fragrance wants to be a bright daytime companion, the kind of scent you spray on while getting ready near a sunlit window. It fits a casual brunch or a shopping trip where you want to smell feminine and sweet without thinking too hard about the composition. Unfortunately, the synthetic dry down is a hurdle. The panna cotta and musk combination lacks the natural depth found in similar floral gourmands, leaving a flat, artificial trail. If you are sensitive to notes that smell like candy rather than flowers, this edition will disappoint. The pepper remains a persistent distraction from start to finish, making the entire experience feel unbalanced.
