The dining room is quiet except for the hum of the refrigerator and the faint clink of a glass being set on a wooden table. Aldehydes shimmer in the air like a thin layer of dust caught in afternoon light, bright and slightly metallic. Bergamot and coriander add a clean, green sharpness that cuts through the stillness, while cedar needles bring a resinous forest edge to the room. Tarragon and marigold twist through the opening, herbal and slightly bitter, keeping the brightness from feeling polished or safe.

Moroccan rose soon takes over the space, its petals damp and heavy, supported by jasmine and magnolia that lean creamy and thick. Orange blossom lifts the floral heart with a fleeting citrus spark, and black narcissus pulls the flowers toward something darker and more rooted. The blend feels lush and slightly overgrown, as if the bouquet were gathered from a garden left untended for years. There is a soft animalic warmth beginning to rise from the floorboards, subtle but impossible to ignore once noticed.
