Freesia
Fragrance notes
Character
Freesia by NOU opens with lemon and bergamot brightened by galbanum. The citrus is sharp and clean, and the galbanum adds a crisp green edge that keeps the start from feeling heavy. It moves quickly into a heart built around freesia, lily, jasmine, and rose. The freesia leads with a soft petal tone, the lily adds smoothness, the jasmine brings a gentle white floral lift, and the rose rounds the mix with a light warmth. Together they read as a clear floral bouquet that stays airy rather than dense.
The base carries musk, sandalwood, benzoin, and amber. The musk and sandalwood give a creamy foundation, while benzoin and amber add a mild resinous sweetness. The overall accord list shows floral, citrus, amber, white floral, musky, powdery, green, and aromatic elements, and all of them appear in the wear. It feels polished and composed, leaning sweet but balanced by the green top notes and the dry wood beneath the amber.
It works well for a walk outside when the air is warm and the light is full. Someone who likes a straightforward floral that keeps its citrus and green edges while settling into a soft amber finish will find it easy to wear often.
