It sits in the base but its warm, slightly animalic breath pushes forward through the pepper and cardamom, making the first impression feel a little heavy handed. The Brazilian orange tries to lift the weight, but the spice is dense and refuses to step back.
Sunlight hits a wooden market stall where the air is thick with dust and heat. Rose petals are laid out beside piles of cloves and cinnamon sticks, their scent mixing with the dry aroma of sandalwood planks stacked in the shade. A breeze carries the sharp green edge of Java vetiver through the space, cutting the richness of the balsam fir that lines the nearby crates.
The orange brightens the scene for a moment, adding a juicy sparkle to the heavy spices that surround it. Celine Martin composed this oriental spicy fragrance to keep the rose from dominating, letting the cloves and cinnamon create a textured, aromatic warmth that feels grounded in the wood of the stall. The cardamom adds a cool pause between the hotter notes.
