Fragrance notes
Character
Apple and mint open the fragrance with a cool, crisp bite. The fruit is bright and the mint feels clean. Cardamom adds a sharp, peppery edge while sage brings a dusty, green herbal touch. The top feels fresh but it carries a dry, slightly rough texture.
Carnation and geranium sit in the heart with a clove-like spice. Cinnamon warms the center of the blend. Sandalwood offers a smooth, creamy wood, but lavender pulls the middle toward a soapy, old-fashioned barbershop feel. The floral side here is powdery and a bit stiff.
Tonka bean and vanilla create a heavy, sweet foundation. Vetiver adds a muddy, earthy root scent. Leather brings a dry, slightly rubbery texture that fights the sugar. Cedar provides a dry wood backing, but the base often smells like vanilla extract mixed with dry wood shavings.
The composition feels synthetic and mass-produced. The vanilla leans chemical rather than rich. The powdery lavender and the heavy tonka combine into a scent that can feel cloying and dated. It lacks a natural smoothness. The loud, artificial sweetness is the reason some will put the bottle down.
