Bee opens with mandarin orange, apricot, and bergamot. The citrus is bright and immediate, with the apricot adding a soft, rounded fruitiness that keeps the start from feeling sharp. Bergamot lifts the top with a clean edge that carries the fruit forward without becoming heavy.
The heart introduces cedar, lily-of-the-valley, and jasmine. Cedar gives a dry, woody footing that steadies the white florals. Lily-of-the-valley brings a green, dewy quality, while jasmine adds a smooth, slightly indolic fullness. Together they create a floral phase that feels aired out and natural rather than dense.
Vanilla and musk form the base, leaning powdery and sweet. The vanilla is warm but restrained, and the musk keeps the finish close and skin-like. The overall impression is cheerful and easy, suited to a sunny morning on a patio or a walk through a garden in bloom. The one drawback is that the cedar can feel a bit thin, giving the drydown a slightly hollow center.
