Within minutes, the heart blooms: tuberose and Indian jasmine tangle with warm caramel and a slick, milky cappuccino accord, turning the composition from bright to lushly indulgent. The dry down is where Vanilla 01 earns its name, layering Bourbon vanilla over sandalwood and tonka bean, with musk padding the edges into a powdery, powdery softness that clings close to skin.
The overall character feels like a velvety booth in a late-night café, where a half-eaten slice of vanilla cake sits beside a cooling espresso. It is undeniably sweet and dense, leaning more synthetic in the open (that coconut can read a little candied) but settling into a comfortable, mainstream oriental gourmand. With sillage hovering around moderate and longevity a solid three and a half hours before fading into a skin scent, this is not a room-filler, nor does it pretend to be.
