Pierre Bourdon composed this fragrance, and his hand shows in the balance between the bitter orange and the petitgrain. The citrus elements do not fight for attention. They sit together in a way that feels natural, as if the peels and leaves were gathered at once rather than layered in stages. The orange blossom adds a gentle floral lift that keeps the blend from leaning too sharp.
The later stage of the wear is where the character settles. Petitgrain and bitter orange take a more prominent role, giving the scent a slightly bitter, herbal finish that grounds the earlier brightness. The bergamot and tangerine remain present but step back, letting the green and aromatic sides lead. It becomes drier and more reserved, moving away from the initial juicy impression and settling into a calm, herbal skin scent.
