Character
Smoke rises first, thick and dry, carrying oud that feels rough rather than polished. The wood here is resinous and heavy, pushing forward immediately with a dark, mineral edge. Lavender enters soon after, cool and herbal, cutting through the density without softening the overall weight. There is a metallic shimmer running through the heart that keeps the floral note from feeling calm. The oud repeats in the middle, deeper now, with a faint animalic breath that suggests age and storage rather than fresh cutting.
Leather settles in last, smooth and slightly bitter, anchoring the blend with a firm, tannic grip. The leather works alongside the mineral accord to create a surface that feels cold and industrial at times. Fresh spicy and aromatic touches flicker underneath, never bright enough to lift the mood but adding small points of heat. The smoke does not disappear once the leather arrives. It lingers in the background, tying each layer to the one before it.
A gray sky and wet pavement suit this scent better than bright sun, the kind of air that bites a little when you breathe in. The animalic facet grows stronger as the leather expands, making the whole composition feel lived in and slightly untamed.
