Fragrance notes
Character
The study is quiet at last. A heavy book lies open on the desk, its pages releasing a faint scent of old paper and dry ink that mingles with the cool, mineral smell of the clay walls. A cup of dark coffee sits nearby, its bitter edge softened by a breeze carrying Italian cypress through the window. The initial impression is stark and architectural, a blend of amber and spices that feels like walking into a room built from earth and parchment.
As the evening settles, the space grows warmer. The coffee recedes, letting Madagascar vanilla and tonka bean rise with a creamy, powdery weight. Guaiac wood adds a dry, resinous smoke that wraps around the musky, animalic pull of ambergris and labdanum. It is a thick, oriental blanket of scent, aromatic and deeply spicy, turning the room into a den of polished wood and soft skin. The vanilla is not a dessert but a dark, almost leathery warmth that clings to the air, mixing with the clay and paper until the boundaries between the fragrance and the room dissolve into a single, amber-hued atmosphere where the vanilla and wood simply continue to intertwine with the lingering musk
