Fragrance notes
Character
Bright bergamot and sharp citruses lead the first impression, clean and immediate. Rose and jasmine follow without overwhelming the opening, supported by orris that adds a soft, root-like texture. Geranium brings a green edge to the florals, keeping the heart from leaning fully sweet.
Leather sits quietly in the base, more of a suggestion than a statement, while heliotrope and tonka bean introduce a gentle vanilla warmth. Amber and musk round out the lower half, and oakmoss gives a faintly damp, earthy finish that feels appropriate for a walk under fading afternoon light among dry leaves.
The powdery accord is pronounced throughout, which some will find charming and others will find dated. The composition stays firmly in its era, and the heaviness of the orris and oakmoss can feel stiff rather than elegant. It lacks a modern fluidity that would make it easier to wear today.
