CAM RIP
Fragrance notes
Character
The heavy wooden door of the private gallery swings shut and the outside street noise vanishes. Cambodian oud rises immediately, thick and resinous, curling around the room like a dark ribbon. Incense burns somewhere near the corner, its grey smoke mixing with the oud to create a dense, sacred air. Rose sits quietly beneath the smoke, not bright or dewy but dried and pressed into the warmth. Patchouli adds an earthy weight that pulls the entire composition downward, anchoring the lighter elements to the floorboards.
Amber and balsamic accords wrap the sharper edges of the smoke, giving the air a rounded, golden softness that feels almost edible without ever becoming sweet. The animalic facet pulses underneath, a raw and slightly sweaty skin tone that makes the space feel inhabited rather than staged. Warm spicy notes prick at the nose, a gentle heat that matches the low lighting and the creak of old floorboards underfoot. Everything here smells lived in and expensive, a collection of materials that refuse to be polished into something polite.
The scent clings to the velvet curtains and the sleeves of anyone standing near the center of the room, a heavy cloak of wood and rose that demands the windows stay closed.
