The rose here is pale and dusty, sitting close to the cedar without turning sweet. Patchouli adds a warm spicy depth that grounds the floral aspect and gives the fragrance a slightly earthy texture. Orange provides a clean lift that prevents the wood from becoming too severe, though it never dominates the overall impression.
As the scent develops, the patchouli and cedar take over and the rose recedes into a soft background. The powdery accord becomes more noticeable, giving the later stages a muted, slightly dry finish that feels more austere than inviting. The woods grow firmer while the citrus disappears completely, leaving a composition that leans heavily on its earthier facets.
The orange feels thin and disappears too fast, leaving the patchouli and cedar to carry more weight than they comfortably support. The powdery aspect can read as stale rather than refined, and the rose lacks the freshness needed to balance the dry base. It is a narrow execution that offers little movement once the initial brightness fades.
