Our take

The opening is a sharp lemony hiss, like the steam off a freshly poured cup of black tea on a humid morning. It’s clean, citric, and unmistakably green, with the sandalwood hiding in the background like a shy guest. Alberto Morillas knows his way around an aromatic transparency, and here he delivers a fragrance that feels less like a composition and more like a quick, bright exhale. The lemon fades fast, the tea note becomes a soft powdery ghost, and the sandalwood warms into something almost skin-like. The whole thing evaporates in under two hours. Sillage barely registers beyond arm’s length. For a summer-only scent that demands reapplication, it works as a fleeting pleasure.

This is the olfactory equivalent of wiping your neck with a chilled matcha-scented towel after a jog. It’s natural in feel, not synthetic, but so lightweight it borders on a body spray. No depth, no complexity, just a clean, ozonic whisper. If you want a fragrance that announces your arrival, skip it. This one apologizes for existing. It suits someone who doesn’t want to smell like perfume at all, who just wants a faint aura of fresh tea and citrus to cut the heat. Wear it to the beach, to a yoga class, or while lounging on a sun-drenched porch. Just don’t expect it to last through lunch. The numbers don’t lie: longevity and sillage earn a harsh 2 and 1.9 out of five. It’s a shame, because the opening is lovely. But a fragrance that vanishes before you finish your cup of tea is hard to defend.
