Our take

Rose sits close to wild berries here, the fruit dark and slightly tart rather than sweet. Ink adds a dry, papery edge that keeps the florals from feeling soft. Heliotrope lends a gentle vanilla warmth that blends into the amber.

Musk and amber create a low, animalic hum beneath the powdery florals. The ink note reads like a written page left open in a room full of roses. Woody facets give the berries a faintly earthy backdrop.

Everything feels slightly blurred, as if the notes were painted with a soft brush. The powdery accord is present but never cloys, resting near the skin with a quiet warmth. Fruity and aromatic touches move through the rose without sharpening it.

Vanilla and heliotrope round the edges so the ink never turns sharp. Wear it in spring when the air is cool and the light is pale. A person who likes rose but wants it touched by ink and amber will feel at home here.
