Angelica opens Gem Of A Person with a brisk, almost medicinal green edge. It feels sharp and distinctly herbal rather than traditionally fresh. This initial impression is fleeting but sets a cool, upright tone that contrasts with what follows. The transition feels less like a smooth gradient and more like stepping from a shaded garden into a heavy, velvet-draped room.
Tuberose dominates the heart, arriving with a thick, creamy weight. It is not a bright or dewy white floral. It smells dense, slightly dirty, and indolic, pushing the scent into a heavy, opulent territory. The tuberose here feels mature and stubborn, refusing to soften its intensity. It sits close to the skin in a heavy, enveloping cloud rather than projecting a light mist.
Black amber anchors the base, providing a dark, resinous foundation that feels warm and slightly salty. It does not smell like clean, polished resin.
