Oud Saffron
Fragrance notes
Character
Saffron threads and rose petals open the scent with a metallic shimmer that feels deliberate. The rose is not fresh and dewy. It carries a dry, almost powdered edge that lets the saffron lead without interference.
Labdanum enters and pulls the floral brightness into a resinous center. The texture becomes sticky and golden, like warm amber resin smoothed over old wood. Leather and tobacco notes from the accord list rise here, adding a faintly smoky breath to the resin.
Oud anchors the base with a dark, woody weight. It is not medicinal or sharp. The oud feels polished and grand, suited to a dimly lit restaurant where glasses clink and the air is thick with conversation and rich food.
The blend is undeniably heavy and opulent. The metallic edge from the opening never fully disappears, which can make the composition feel slightly abrasive against the skin. It asks for a confident wearer who enjoys a bold, unapologetic statement.
