Our take

Tart Deco opens with a vivid rush of Black Cherry and Raspberry, juicy and slightly tart, with a polished sweetness that feels playful without becoming syrupy. The fruit has a dark red color in the imagination, like cherry preserves spread across a glossy black plate. Rose soon joins the picture, while Jasmine and Mimosa add a soft floral lift around the edges. That floral layer gives the opening shape and keeps the fruit from feeling flat.

As it settles, Vanilla becomes the main thread. It is creamy, warm, and gently powdery, with enough depth to suit Tart Deco’s richer side. Vetiver brings a dry green line through the sweetness, and Birch adds a woody, faintly leathery touch. The drydown is where the perfume gains its most character. Cherry and vanilla remain easy to notice, but the darker wood and smoky accord give them a deeper setting, like a velvet-lined jewelry box holding a sugared fruit. The effect feels cozy and dressed up, with a charming tension between soft sweetness and dry texture.

Tart Deco has moderate staying power, while its sillage forms a modest bubble around the wearer. That balance makes it easy to wear in close company, at an office, or for dinner without overwhelming the setting. Fall and winter bring out its richest qualities, though spring and summer can work when a sweet fruity scent feels right. It will appeal to anyone who enjoys cherry, vanilla, and floral perfume with a woody finish, especially when the drydown matters as much as the first spray.
