Fragrance notes
Character
Calabrian bergamot opens the fragrance with a bright, citrus sparkle that feels crisp against the skin. The watery facet sits underneath it, adding a cool, transparent quality that keeps the opening from feeling heavy.
Grass brings a raw, green edge that cuts through the citrus. Heliotrope softens that sharpness with a powdery, almond-like sweetness that leans floral rather than gourmand. The heart feels like walking through damp fields just as the air turns cold.
Myrrh and patchouli anchor the blend with a resinous, earthy depth. Precious woods add a dry, polished texture that grounds the sweeter heliotrope and keeps the base feeling mature. The amber and balsamic accords wrap the woods in a warm, slightly sticky glow.
The synthetic facet of the grass note can feel a bit plastic against the natural resin of the myrrh. That contrast creates a slight disconnect in the middle of the wear, where the synthetic edge distracts from the otherwise smooth wood and spice.
