Fragrance notes
Character
The rum note leans boozy and sharp, and it clashes with the green tea in a way that feels unresolved. This is not a smooth blend. The medlar and angelica add a sour fruit edge that does not soften the opening.
Davana brings a warm, hay-like sweetness that feels heavy against the jasmine sambac. The orange blossom tries to lift the heart, but the frangipani sits thick and waxy. Haitian vetiver grounds the flowers with a damp, earthy texture.
Cedar and oakmoss give the foundation a dry, forest-floor feel. Patchouli adds its familiar dark soil touch, while the ambergris and white musk create a soft, powdery aura that stays pressed against the skin. The scent remains present for a generous stretch of time.
Coumarin pushes a strong tonka bean sweetness that dominates the drydown, making the whole composition feel a bit one-dimensional. If you prefer a dry, sheer finish, this heavy, powdery amber weight will likely feel too persistent.
