Our take

Orient Glow was built for the man who wants his presence felt in a room without shouting. The opening makes the case immediately with bergamot brightened by cardamom and nutmeg, a spicy citrus that feels intentional rather than decorative. It is not a casual daytime spray for running errands. The composition asks for a heavier atmosphere, the kind found in a dimly lit wood-paneled bar where the air is already warm and the conversation runs deep.

The argument continues in the heart, where leather meets coconut and peach. This is the fragrance's boldest move, pairing a rugged material with a creamy, fruity softness that could have tipped into something juvenile. Instead, the peach provides a rounded warmth that makes the leather approachable, while the coconut adds a smooth texture that lingers on the skin. It feels like a well-worn jacket that has picked up the scent of a favorite workshop.

Composed by Karine Vinchon Spehner, the base of patchouli, cedar, and musk secures the foundation. The woodiness here is dry and aromatic, supported by a powdery musky accord that keeps the spiciness from becoming too sharp. It is a scent that belongs to someone comfortable with a bit of old-school masculinity updated for the modern shelf, a blend that walks the line between aromatic freshness and a deep, resinous warmth that settles into the fabric
