Character
The first spray brings a sharp black pepper and bright lemon that clears the air quickly. It is a crisp entry that feels more like a signal than a comfort, and it moves forward without hesitation.
The heart introduces black leather and bourbon geranium alongside orange blossom and a warm cinnamon. The leather is polished rather than rugged, and the orange blossom adds a soft white floral lift that keeps the spices from feeling heavy. As the drydown settles, patchouli and labdanum take over with cedar and elemi. The patchouli is earthy and dark, the labdanum adds a balsamic amber weight, and the cedar gives a dry wooden frame. The result is a balsamic woody bed that smells expensive and slightly reserved. It stays in that deep, aromatic space where the spices linger under the resin and the leather fades into the background.
The limitation is the opening. The pepper and lemon disappear fast, and the transition into the leather can feel abrupt if you prefer a slow build. It asks for patience before the best part arrives.
