Emporio Armani Because It’s You
Fragrance notes
Character
Emporio Armani Because It's You keeps its structure simple: raspberry, lemon and neroli up top, a single rose note in the heart, vanilla, musk and amberwood underneath. That simplicity works in its favor, the rose given plenty of room to be the whole point instead of competing with five other florals for space.
The raspberry stays tart, not jammy, lemon and neroli keeping the opening bright and a little citrusy before the rose settles in fully and takes over the middle. Vanilla and amberwood warm the base, musk adding a soft, powdery finish that never turns overtly sweet, even with all that raspberry and vanilla in the same formula.
Staying power holds at a fair, average pace, holding steady without much drama, and the sillage stays warm and close, present for anyone standing near. Spring is its best season, though it carries reasonably well into a mild fall day too, losing some brightness once the weather turns properly cold. Raspberry and rose stay the two constants throughout, the fruit softening the floral just enough to keep the whole thing easy to wear.
