Our take

It opens on orange blossom and bergamot, bright and a little bitter before the tuberose takes hold. Indian jasmine thickens the heart into something dense and white, heavier than the citrus first suggested, with a faint animalic edge running underneath the florals, giving them a slightly skin-like warmth rather than pure prettiness. Madagascar vanilla and white musk soften the landing, and Virginian cedar gives the base a bit of structure so it never turns purely sweet.

Staying power sits in the middling range, and the sillage keeps a close-range presence, felt more by the wearer than by anyone standing across a table. That makes it a fair pick for the office or a quiet dinner, somewhere a loud white floral would be too much to carry. It leans distinctly toward daytime wear, and spring is where the orange blossom and bergamot make the most sense against the air.

Carlos Benaïm and Bruno Jovanovic built something that leans traditional, closer to a modern take on old-school tuberose soliflores than a big gourmand crowd-pleaser. Fans of quieter white florals with a slightly animal undertone will get along with it fine, while anyone wanting something sweeter or louder will find this a quieter proposition by comparison.
