Our take

The name promises science fiction, but Ghost in the Shell smells like skin, or a very convincing idea of it: yuzu and hexyl acetate open bright and slightly synthetic, then milk moves in and the whole thing turns lactonic, soft, almost edible without being a dessert. Etat Libre d'Orange leans on concepts like this, and here it actually lands.

Jasmine and mugane add a green, slightly bitter lift to the milk, and moss in the base gives it an earthy, slightly damp undertone instead of straightforward sweetness. Staying power lands in the middle, an even pace that neither vanishes fast nor pushes into stubborn territory, and the sillage is private: the milk and moss barely lift off the skin, meant for whoever gets close enough to notice.

It reads best in warm weather, spring and summer especially, worn during the day when skin scents make the most sense. This is an odd, interesting fragrance, built for someone curious about lactonic, milky compositions, not classic florals or woods, and it will read as strange, maybe off-putting, to anyone expecting something more conventional.
