Tilda Swinton Like This doesn't separate into top, heart and base the way most fragrances do. Pumpkin and immortelle open the blend with an odd, waxy-sweet warmth, ginger and tangerine cutting through with a spicy citrus snap, and the immortelle especially gives it a slightly dusty, dried-fruit quality that's unusual this early in a fragrance. Tangerine gives the opening a bright, juicy lift against the heavier pumpkin and immortelle.
Heliotrope, neroli and rose keep a powdery floral thread present throughout, while musk, vetyver and a trace of tobacco give the whole thing a slightly dry, skin-like finish rather than anything sugary. The tobacco stays in the background, more texture than flavor, giving the base a faint roughness under the softer florals.
It holds a fair, steady stretch of time on skin, present without needing much reinforcement through the wear. Its presence reaches whoever's close by, easy to catch at that range. Fall works best for it, worn during the day, when the pumpkin-immortelle warmth has the most to work with, and the overall effect stays warm and a little unusual throughout, never settling into one clear category.
