Our take

It opens like a slap of sun-warmed citrus leaf, that lemon verbena and basil combination so sharp and green it almost stings. The honeysuckle and jasmine creep in quietly, softening the edges into something floral but never syrupy, while a faint marine saltiness from the seaweed whispers beneath. And then the dry down reveals a hint of amber warming the vetiver, but honestly this is a fragrance that evaporates before it ever really settles, a quick sketch rather than a painting.

The whole thing feels like standing on a dock at mid morning, barefoot, with crushed lemon balm under your nose and the distant smell of low tide. It is refreshing and undeniably natural, leaning more herbal than sweet, more green than floral. The longevity is a genuine problem at around two and a half hours, and the sillage barely reaches conversation distance, so do not expect any kind of presence beyond a close hug.

This is for someone who wants to feel clean and awake, not perfume drenched. It works beautifully on a humid summer morning or during a spring garden lunch where you do not want to announce yourself. Skip it if you need a fragrance to last through a work day or if you prefer something dense and amber heavy. It is fleeting but delightful, like a breeze you barely catch.
