Character
Jasper Conran II feels thin in its construction. The citrus and herbs arrive with clarity, but the blend never develops much weight or personality. It stays light in a way that reads as cautious rather than breezy, and the composition does not take many risks.
Lemon verbena and basil lead with a clean, kitchen-garden sharpness. Petitgrain adds a faintly bitter edge that keeps the opening from turning sweet. Mandarin orange brings a soft fruit roundness to the heart, while geranium and jasmine sit in the background without pushing forward.
Peony and vetiver form a base that is more suggestion than statement. The musk is present but quiet, offering a smooth landing rather than a firm foundation. The overall impression is herbal and green, with a fresh spicy lift that stays close to the skin.
