Our take

Stella Soir opens with a bright raspberry note that feels tart rather than candy-like, paired with a clean rose that avoids the heavy, dated quality found in older floral compositions. The fruit leads immediately, giving the fragrance a lively start that draws attention without overwhelming the senses. Rose sits beside it as a supporting player, adding a soft floral lift that keeps the opening from leaning too far into sweetness.

The heart introduces violet and jasmine, where violet brings a powdery, slightly cool character that defines much of the fragrance's identity. Jasmine adds a white floral roundness that bridges the fruity top and the deeper base. Together they create a floral middle that feels polished and composed, moving the scent away from playful fruit and toward something more structured.

Base notes of amber, patchouli and vanilla provide a warm, slightly woody foundation. Amber and vanilla lend a gentle sweetness, while patchouli adds earthy depth that prevents the composition from becoming too light or fleeting. The result is a drydown that feels warm and slightly resinous, with the powdery violet from the heart still visible through the richer base materials.

This is a fragrance built around violet and amber, with powdery and white floral accords carrying the composition from its raspberry opening through to its patchouli and vanilla finish.
