VLAD
Fragrance notes
Character
VLAD does not announce itself with immediate ease. The opening feels dense and slightly abrasive, with birch and patchouli creating a rugged, tar-like texture that can overwhelm the first few minutes of wear.
Filippo Sorcinelli composed this unisex release to feel deeply resinous. Incense and myrrh wrap around the rose note, giving the flower a dark, wilted character rather than a fresh petal glow. Wormwood and white pepper add a bitter, pungent edge that cuts through the heavy amber and leather accords.
The scent holds to the skin without expanding far into the air around you, making it a considerate choice for close proximity. It stays present for a reasonable duration through an evening out, fading gradually rather than disappearing all at once.
It suits a dimly lit walk through cool air when the heat of the day has broken and the streetlights reflect off wet pavement. A drop of blood on a dark velvet cloth.
