Our take

Open Road opens with a brisk squirt of lemon and a glossy red apple note, like biting into a freshly polished Granny Smith on a sunny morning. That brightness lasts roughly the time it takes to roll down your car window. Then Sichuan pepper and lavender step in, peppery and herbal, with clary sage adding a slightly fuzzy green edge, but the whole affair stays polite and sheer. The drydown sinks into a dusty vetiver with cedar shavings and a whisper of patchouli, pleasant enough if you press your nose to your wrist.

This is a snapshot of a highway rest stop at golden hour, a warm breeze carrying the scent of wild sage and sunbaked leather, but the photo fades before you can slip it into your wallet. Longevity is barely two hours, sillage a gentle bubble that vanishes if you move too fast. The composition leans synthetic in a clean, mainstream way, fresh and aromatic without any rough edges. It feels designed for a confident young man grabbing coffee on a spring morning or a casual summer lunch, not for nights out or serious statements. Who should wear it? Someone who values an easy, low commitment fragrance for daytime errands. Who should skip it? Anyone expecting more than a fleeting impression. Coach gave us a pleasant road trip, but forgot to pack enough fuel for the return journey. 🚗💨
