Our take

Coach Love opens with a burst of wild strawberry so ripe and glossy it feels like biting into summer itself. That sweetness is upfront, almost candied, but it softens quickly as a clean, dewy red rose rises to meet it. The two weave together into what I can only describe as a strawberry jam sandwich left out on a picnic blanket, the rose petals scattered around it, warm and slightly crushed. The cedarwood base arrives late and quietly, grounding the fruit and flower with a dry, earthy whisper, but it never fully takes command.

This is a straightforward, linear affair. It smells pleasant but unmistakably synthetic, like a fruity body spray in a good dress. The numbers back up the experience: longevity is a frustrating two hours or so, and sillage barely whispers past arm’s length. You will need to reapply to be noticed, which feels like a tease given the pretty opening.

Who should wear it? Someone who wants a cheerful, uncomplicated spritz for a sunny brunch or a casual daytime date. It suits spring and summer perfectly, and its sheer lightness makes it almost impossible to overapply. But if you crave depth, projection, or anything that lingers into evening, skip it. There is no mystery here, only a fleeting, sweet blush. And really, is that what love should feel like?
