Pear leaf and Italian mandarin arrive first, bright and slightly tart, with pink pepper adding a gentle lift that keeps the opening from feeling heavy. The fruit reads clean rather than sugary, sitting comfortably beside the green edge that follows. Bulgarian rose enters soon after, softened by jasmine and jasmine sambac, which give the heart a rounded floral character that stays close to the skin and does not project far beyond the wearer. The flowers feel smooth and a little powdery, never sharp or overwhelming.
Musk and amber form the foundation, supported by ambrette, Siam benzoin, and tonka bean. The base feels warm and slightly resinous, with the musk carrying the floral notes forward through the day without pushing outward into a room. It stays near the body, noticeable to the person wearing it and to someone nearby, then continues at that same gentle distance as the hours pass. The composition feels cohesive, moving from fresh green fruit to a floral center and then into a soft, musky warmth that suits a sunny walk, a daytime event, or a casual afternoon outdoors.
The blend is pleasant and easy to wear, but the tonka and benzoin give it a faintly synthetic sweetness that can feel a bit flat next to the natural brightness of the pear leaf and mandarin. That sweetness lingers in the drydown and may not appeal to anyone who prefers a drier, more transparent finish.
