Our take

Wild Drops Parfums builds Bloody Tea around a dark, steeped leaf that smells like it was brewed in a wooden cup. The opening pairs bright tea with plump raisin and a soft osmanthus bloom, giving the first minutes a fruity lift that feels polished rather than sugary. Champagne bubbles through the heart alongside black tea and mahogany, while a dry tobacco leaf adds a gentle roughness to the texture.

The base deepens the theme with Lapsang Souchong tea, dried fruits, and a warm cognac accord. Vanilla and amber smooth the edges, but leather, resins, iris, labdanum, and a green thread keep the blend from turning fully sweet. It reads as woody, aldehydic, and warm spicy, with a fruity top that never dominates the darker materials underneath.

This is a fragrance for someone who enjoys tea scents that lean resinous and substantial. The dried fruits and vanilla provide comfort, yet the leather and smoke give it a serious posture that works in cool weather and evening settings. It feels more niche than mainstream, with a natural weight that suits quiet occasions where you want a distinctive personal scent.

The one limitation is the osmanthus and raisin. They add a pretty, slightly floral fruitiness that some will love, but they also soften the smoky leather and resinous core just enough to feel slightly at odds with the darker direction the rest of the composition clearly wants to take.
