Majestic Oud
Fragrance notes
Character
Majestic Oud opens with a sharp, resinous push of cardamom and cloves that feels immediate and slightly dry. The fig sits underneath that spice, adding a rounded, sticky softness that stops the opening from feeling purely medicinal. As the top notes settle, the heart introduces rose and jasmine. The rose carries a dewy, slightly powdery weight, while the jasmine adds a clean, floral lift that prevents the middle from becoming too heavy. These florals do not dominate the blend. They act as a bridge between the bright, peppery start and the dense materials waiting in the base. The transition is smooth, moving from a crisp spice to a more lush and textured floral arrangement that feels traditional in structure but maintains a clear, defined presence on the skin.
The foundation is built around a prominent oud note that is earthy and woody rather than overly animalic. Guaiac wood reinforces that timber character with a smoky, dry edge, while labdanum brings a warm, amber-like resin that binds the wood and musk together. The musk in the base is subtle, providing a clean, skin-like finish that rounds off the sharper edges of the oud. The overall composition stays firmly in the woody and warm spicy family, creating a thick, enveloping atmosphere that suits a cold day spent indoors or a walk through damp, leaf-covered ground. The labdanum lingers, leaving a faint, golden trace that mixes with the remaining clove
