Character
Saffron threads through the heart of Sah, lending a golden, slightly leathery heat to the Turkish rose. Nutmeg and cloves add a dry, aromatic bite, while geranium pulls the florals toward something greener and more austere. The spices do not fade quickly, allowing the heart to remain present as the foundation builds beneath it.
Cambodian oud anchors the base with a resinous, animalic depth that feels dense and slightly smoky. Patchouli adds earthy weight, and cedar brings a clean, dry wood line that keeps the darker elements from becoming too heavy. The oud projects clearly in the air, announcing the fragrance without overwhelming the space around you.
The mineral and ozonic accords sit quietly beneath the spices, adding a cold, metallic edge that prevents the warmth from feeling too rounded. This contrast creates a mood suited to dim lighting and cooler air, where the sharpness of the mineral notes feels intentional rather than out of place.
Regalien composed Sah with Koray Sevinç, and the result is a spicy woody profile that stays close to its core materials. The mineral accord lingers alongside the rose and saffron, leaving a warm spicy impression that settles on the skin and continues to release the woody and animalic facets.
