Cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg arrive first, brightened by a crisp apple that keeps the spices from feeling heavy. The opening feels warm and immediate, with the apple adding a clean lift to the peppery kick of the cloves.
Patchouli and incense form the center, joined by coffee and a soft jasmine. The coffee adds a dry, roasted edge to the resinous incense, while the jasmine stays in the background as a pale floral touch. Cambodian oud, vanilla, cedar, tobacco, and amber settle in the base. The oud is deep and woody, the tobacco is rich, and the vanilla and amber round it out with a smooth sweetness. Cedar adds a dry wood facet that keeps the base from becoming too dense.
The blend suits a cold night and a dim room, where the heat of the spices and the weight of the woods feel natural. It is a dense, resinous composition that stays close to the skin in texture and mood. The jasmine and apple are present but faint, and they get lost quickly among the stronger spices and the heavy oud. The coffee note also reads thin next to the amber and tobacco, leaving the middle feeling a bit unbalanced.
