They come across as a loud, artificial start that does not quite match the elegant florals waiting beneath.
As the scent settles, the Turkish rose and neroli take control, creating a lush, powdery heart. Violet and lily soften the edges, while nutmeg, coriander, and cinnamon add a warm, spicy kick that keeps the sweetness from becoming a flat line. The white chocolate in the base wraps the florals in a creamy, dessert-like layer, resting on a bed of musk and amber. The vetiver and patchouli give it a sturdy, earthy foundation that carries the scent through a cool, grey afternoon walk or a quiet evening indoors with a heavy sweater.
This composition has a distinct presence that announces itself clearly without overwhelming the immediate space, and the blend lingers on the skin for an extended period. It suits someone who enjoys a gourmand floral with a spicy backbone. However, that initial blast of watery, candied fruit remains the weak point. It distracts from the beautiful rose and chocolate heart, making the first few minutes feel cheap.
