Our take

Eau Pure by Biotherm opens with a razor sharp citrus burst, lime and grapefruit jostling with a tart rhubarb tang and the unmistakable fleshy sweetness of kiwi. It feels like a splash of ice cold tonic water on sunburned skin, exhilarating and utterly fleeting. The heart steers into greener territory with green tea and lotus, a brief, watery interlude that softens the initial acidity but never quite deepens. Then the base of musk, patchouli and oakmoss arrives, a whisper of woody warmth that barely registers before the whole thing vanishes. The numbers do not lie: longevity clocks in at a miserable 2.38, sillage at 2.10, which means this is a scent you smell on yourself for maybe an hour and then forget you ever sprayed. You might wonder why Biotherm bothered with a base at all given how quickly it evaporates. Still, the 4.06 rating tells me people adore that initial rush. This is a mainstream fruity aromatic with a clean, slightly synthetic edge, like a high end body splash. It belongs exclusively to hot spring afternoons, the kind of day when you want to feel fresh for exactly as long as it takes to walk from the car to the café. Skip it if you demand presence or endurance. Wear it if you love the idea of a watercolor painting that dries before you finish looking at it.
