Our take

You get a sharp citrus zip at the start, bergamot and lemon biting cleanly through a fistful of vague fruity notes that taste more like a neon cocktail umbrella than anything from a tree. Then the water notes rush in, and the transition is like stepping from a boardwalk into a swimming pool. The jasmine floats on top, a little waxy and synthetic, and the whole thing lands somewhere between a chlorine haze and a bathroom at an expensive spa. It dries down to a surprisingly woody, mossy base where cedar and oakmoss try to anchor the mess, but the musk and floral notes keep it soft, almost powdery. The overall character is a plastic mermaid washed up on a beach at sunrise. She looks pretty from a distance but up close the seams show. This fragrance is an aquatic citrus that bludgeons you with freshness. It is unapologetically mainstream, synthetic in the cleanest possible way, and it evaporates faster than a puddle in July. The longevity clocks in at a pitiful 2.45 and the sillage barely registers at 2.56. You will need to spray liberally and reapply often. This is a summer only scent for the beach, the pool deck, or that first hour of a hot morning before the heat eats it alive. It suits someone who wants to smell like a freshly unwrapped bar of soap and does not mind being ignored after the first ten minutes. Skip it if you crave depth, endurance, or any hint of the sea’s real salt and brine.
