Jealous Look opens with a tart bite of black currant and lemon that cuts straight through the softer apple and bergamot. The fruit is loud and slightly sharp, immediately announcing a personality that refuses to blend quietly into the background. It feels bright and restless, like someone who enters a room already mid-conversation and expects everyone to listen.
The heart settles into a dense garden of wild rose and standard rose, backed by the green edge of geranium and the softness of acácia. This is where the scent reveals its true weight, as the flowers feel lush rather than dewy. The base then pulls the entire composition toward a warm, golden finish with honey and amber, while cyclamen and musk keep the texture from becoming too heavy or syrupy.
Composed by Matsuno Hidenori, this Kilesa release commits fully to its floral identity, but the honey note can feel a bit dense and overly sweet for those who prefer a drier, more airy finish. It is a bold statement that leans heavily into its sugar, leaving little room for the crisp freshness that the opening citrus initially promised.
