Eucalyptus opens the fragrance with a sharp, medicinal chill that cuts through the heavy tobacco leaf. Lemon adds a bright, acidic flash before the heart takes over with black pepper and cloves. The spice is dry and biting, not warm or comforting. Leather sits in the middle, stiff and untreated, surrounded by the dusty floral quality of geranium and rose. Myrrh brings a resinous, slightly bitter edge that keeps the flowers from smelling sweet. The rose here is pale and powdery, lending a vintage cosmetic texture to the spicy core.
Sandalwood and vetiver form a dry, earthy foundation that feels rugged rather than polished. Benzoin and amber provide a resinous sweetness, but the oud and musk keep the base dark and animalic. The tobacco note lingers through the dry down, mingling with the smoky wood. It feels like a study in contrasts between the fresh top and the heavy base. The powdery accord settles deeply into the resin, creating a scent that is aromatic, woody, and distinctly tobacco.
